David Arkin is the current president of Architects, Designers, and Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR), a founding member of the California Straw Building Association (CASBA), and has taught and lectured on the subject of sustainable design for over ten years. Mr. Arkin's architectural projects have won numerous awards and have been featured in many magazines and books.

Topher Delaney, SEAM Studio
Topher Delaney's thirty-year career as an environmental artist and builder has encompassed a wide breadth of projects which focus on the exploration of seminal interpretations of landscape architecture, site installation and public art. Her practice, SEAM Studio, has evolved from a landscape contracting corporation into an atelier which serves as a venue for the investigation of cultural, social and artistic narratives "seamed" together to form dynamic physical installations. Shellie Kazan, Owner of Shellies Miniature Mania, San Carlos
Shellie Kazan is the owner of Shellie's Miniature Mania, a shop in San Carlos that sells dollhouses, display boxes, furnishings, supplies, and books and offers a full range of classes on dollhouses. She has lived in San Francisco or on the Peninsula all of her life and opened her first dollhouse shop in 1976.

Sharon Refvem, AIA, Hawley Peterson & Snyder Architects
Sharon Refvem is an Associate with Hawley Peterson & Snyder Architects and is co-leader of the HPS - Sustainable Resource Group. She has served as Project Architect on several of the firms' projects, including projects for the City of Santa Clara, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Ms. Refvem is involved in a number of groups and tasks in an effort to advance the practice of Sustainable Building. She serves as Vice-Chair on the Executive Board of the U.S. Green Building Council's Northern California Chapter and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Martina Scanlan, Interiors & Sources
Martina Scanlan is a 18-year veteran of L.C. Clark Publishing Co. and is one of the original founders of Interiors & Sources magazine. She currently serves as Vice President, Senior Accounts for the 15-year-old magazine. Scanlan was intrinsically involved in the creation of many of Interiors & Sources "green" programs including the Green Guide to Neocon, the
EnvironDesign Journals, and the annual EnvironDesign Conference.

Abigail Peterson, Senior Editor, Sunset Magazine
Abigail has been with Sunset for nearly five years. She produces the magazine's Best of the West section, which leads off each issue with news and ideas for living well in the West. Working with Sunset's home editors, she helps cover trends in design and green building. Prior to Sunset, Abby worked as a kindergarten teacher in a small town in Japan, where she played with many dollhouses.
